A HISTORIC BRISBANE ICON, originally the home of

Tristram’s Soft Drinks.

For nearly one hundred years the Tristram family name was synonymous with one of Queensland’s most popular beverage companies. Today, the existing building stands as a prominent West End landmark, showcasing distinctive 19th Century Spanish Mission architecture. Upon its original completion, it was regarded as exemplary — demonstrating new attitudes towards industrial architecture and the growing trend towards landscaping buildings — truly an impression ahead of its time.

Nestled on the corner of well-known Boundary and Mollison Streets, the building currently operates as The Markets at West End and will soon be reborn as an iconic retail destination known as Soda Factory. Currently undergoing a complete refurbishment, the modernized shopping centre will be anchored by a full-line Coles in addition to twenty-two specialty retailers.
